Cycling in Potsdam
Today I met up with former post doc Yvonne Becker and family in Potsdam. Matthias has a position at the Leibniz Institute of Vegetable and Ornamental Crops about 40 km from Potsdam. Potsdam is a beautiful city on an island with lots of parks and palaces reflecting it was the home of a number of Prussian Kings. Touring around on bicycle is a great way to see this vast expanse of park, palace and garden. The day ended with a huge electrical storm that brought some much needed rain.
